Hi all,
I imagine there are more than a few people on this list who have equipment
in hard-to-reach places, and will have some sort of box at these sites that
they can securely access remotely and then access their equipment through
that box.
I could do this with a cisco router and a modem, but, for a bit more
flexibility, I'm looking at using some sort of physically small linux box
that would boot off flash, have no moving parts, and provide at least 10/100
ethernet and a couple of serial ports.
If anyone has any information on equipment as above that they're using, or
have played with, please contact me off-list.
