Chorus B2B for transferring a SME phone line

Hey guys, Sorry if this is off topic but I'm pulling my hair out which chorus B2B system and chorus don't even know what the cause is. I'm sure there may be someone on this list that has implemented the chorus B2B system to transfer phone lines from one provider to another, if so please contact me off-list. Every time I send the request to transfer an SME phone line, I get the following error even though I have provided the details: At least one row of Individual Line Reassignment details required pstnIsdnDetails/individualLineDetails If anyone has an example of the data required to be sent it would be much appreciated. Help locating water monitoring contact

Hi all, Apologies for the irrelevant post but I am trying to locate someone I spoke to at NZNOG 2013 who was working with water monitoring over IP for irrigation systems. I think they were based in the lower north island somewhere. If anyone has any contact information can they please pass it on, or if you're the person I spoke to please contact me off list. Office 365 DNS changes

Hi all, This is just a heads up. Microsoft's DNS server[1] handling the mail.eo.outlook.com domain was updated a few days ago to reject DNS requests coming from privileged ports. Apparently this is an effort to encourage folks on the internet to use source port randomisation for their DNS requests. If, for some reason, you are not able to use an unprivileged source port for your DNS requests, then you will not be able to send email to any person or company using Microsoft's Office 365 email system. A workaround is to hand off your DNS resolution to Google's DNS recursive resolvers at 8.8.8.8. Cheers, Lloyd [1] Yes, that's "server" in the singular. They have two NS records with two names, but only one IP address. It might be a cluster of servers using one IP address but it looks different from the rest of Microsoft's DNS infrastructure, so I wouldn't bet on it.

Is content getting "closer"?

Hey, The AWS Sydney region has been available for 5 months now and, since it became available, the chatter about the importance of another wet string for competitive reasons has gone (mostly) quiet. Are these events correlated? Is content getting closer (and by that I mean avg(rtt) over a large sample of connections)? Has anyone done an internal study of their transit? Does WAND have a dataset they're analysing? Thanks, Jed.

NZNOG Trustees: Act on NZNOG Website

Hi All, Two months ago we had a conference in Wellington. Since then the website has still not been updated to reflect the programme on the day. Previous conference websites have disappeared from the Internet. I understand the trustees have funds at their disposal, and I call on them to take one of the following actions: 1.) Hire someone to sort out the site 2.) Find someone who will do it for free 3.) (or) step down and appoint someone who cares Sorry guys, I like you as people, but your performance here has been abysmal. Fix it please. If you don't want to do anything, I put my hand up for taking over a trustee seat. -JB

According to some media the cell phone turns 40 this month. EE Times has some articles on it or Google Marty Cooper. 22 May is the 40th for Ethernet - when Robert Metcalf wrote his memo outlining ethernet to his Boss. Both sound like good reasons for more beer.
