TVNZ On Demand

Hey guys, wondering if anyone from TVNZ On Demand is on this list and wouldn't mind contacting me offlist regarding problems streaming if a user has an IPv6 address. The helpdesk doesn't appear to know what ipv6 is so thought I'd try an alternative. Many thanks Barry

Hi, While at Sky Tower today, I noticed a small zip-up tool case left on level 48, in a slightly out of the way location. It is still sitting where I saw it. The New Zealand Internet is like a huge super tanker. The bad news is that it takes a long time to change course if you don't like the direction you're headed. The good news is the earlier you start making those changes the smaller the changes need to make. The InTAC conference will be more than just a collection of technology presentations. This year InTAC will be a collaborative environment designed to focus on outcomes as well as the discussions needed to bring them about. There seem to be a non-trivial number of open resolvers in the few NZ ASes I just checked. It would be good if there was a concerted effort into shutting them down, or otherwise neutering them so that they can't be effective amplifiers for DDoS attacks. This is last decade's open mail relay problem, except with less spam, more packet love.
