Anyone know whats wrong with them, we getting some complaints... When their circuit over APE is up, it feels like i'm pinging the moon at times. Greetings, I've just noticed that there's a new AWS region available today: Asia Pacific (Sydney). I would imagine we're going to start to see a trickle of commercial offerings shortly, followed by a rapid increase of data. Before I start probing an instance to find out where/who's connected, does anyone have inside clue about how well connected NZ networks are to this new region? Probing commences after beer. Jed.

Hey guys, Guess while we're on the topic of international pipes, I've made a new capture map for http://www.ispmap.co.nz It's noticeable that Pacnet is nearly finished with NZ with only 1 ISP still using them... I guess this will soon go away when the contract expires. Andy Linton is now an OpenFlow expert

It took 2h. About 30m to make an OpenFlow controller PC out of bunch of trash, and boot my controller DVD. "ed" wasn't available on my controlled DVD so I made Andy use nano to configure it. That slowed us down quite a bit. 90m to put OpenFlow firmware on a 3780 switch, including walking up and down the hill to VUW get 1G SFPs. So if you have any questions about whether OpenFlow/SDN works/forwards packets in hardware - ask Andy. He knows. And has a live CD controller.
