These objects are used to configure the various NZIX route servers (http://nzix.net/) so you can expect the relevant servers to be reloaded in the near future. We need to get an Internet connection (5M/5M static IP) to the Team NZ base in Halsey St, Auckland central but it would seem there is no fibre nearby. We have also then temporarily blocked internet access until the customer has clicked the button on the 'block page' acknowledging that they have received the infringement notice and either complied with it or denied the allegation. Following the current court ruling by Justice Cowdroy in the Federal Court last Thursday we will modify this practice in the near future. We will continue to send any infringement notice we receive in the future but before the end of February we will not require the user to acknowledge receipt of it nor will we temporarily block the customer's internet access. We will continue to send the infringement notices because we believe it's in the best interests of the person who pays for the internet service to know what other entities believe the service is being used for. Many users who pay for the connection (and are therefore liable for how it is used and what it is used for) do not always know how their service is being used and we believe they should be informed. Subject to final legal advice, and re-coding time and testing, we will in future simply send the infringement notice to the registered 'owner' of the service together with this cover email: Dear [ ], A copyright infringement notice has been sent to Exetel that states that your Exetel IP (internet connection) has been used to acquire material the breaches copyright. This seat is currently held by Raimundo Beca, whose term expires in April 2010. The candidates are: - Raimundo Beca - Mark Ducadi - Nicola Garelli - Eric Ramage - Kuo Wei Wu The candidates listed above agree to serve in an ASO seat on the ICANN Board of Directors if selected by the ASO Address Council. In March 2010, the ASO AC will make its final selection to appoint one of these individuals to fill the ASO Board seat. Xtra temporarily deferred MX

A client is complaining that a user at Xtra is not receiving email they sent. I sent a test email and viewed the MX logs and found the following: mx1.tnz.mail.yahoo.com[124.108.96.67] refused to talk to me: 421 Message from (DELETED) temporarily deferred - 4.16.50. Please refer to http://help.yahoo.com/help/us/mail/defer/defer-06.html This is also appearing on other mail servers with other senders. Is this something Xtra is doing across the board or is there another explanation? The web link showing has no information corresponding to the status result.

These objects are used to configure the various NZIX route servers (http://nzix.net/) so you can expect the relevant servers to be reloaded in the near future.
