Hi Skeeve,
In terms of real national coverage, Telecom Wholesale is it. They have
around 900k DSL subscribers. Use the availability tool here:
http://goo.gl/APxaJ
Other providers who had installed their own DSLAMs on Telecom copper by mid
2010 are Actrix, Airnet, CallPlus, Compass, Orcon, TelstraClear & Vodafone.
Together these providers have around 70k DSL subscribers.
Numbers gleaned from an October 2010 ComCom draft review of the UBA STD. I'm
sure someone on the list will come back and say I'm wrong and/or lying. :-)
At the moment the market for fibre suppliers is highly fragmented - so if
you want metro fibre across the country you'll have to talk separately to
NorthPower, Vector, Velocity, Unison, Inspire, CityLink, The Link, Enable,
Flute, etc., or go to the ISP guys you already know from NZNOG for an
integrated solution.
Cheers,
Jon

Hey all,
I MAY have asked this question previously, but I've forgotten.
Who are the larger suppliers of DSL in NZ, and what sort of coverage do they have?
Top 5? 10?
