A reminder that we are looking for talks for the Sysadmin Miniconf at NZNOG 2008 in January ( see http://nznog.miniconf.org/ ) . Last year we had quite a good turnout and talks presented ( http://nznog.miniconf.org/2007.html ) We are really keen to get a good programme for 2008. As such we would be very interested in suggestions both from potential speakers and also from people who might want to hear about particular topics or technologies . On thing we are doing this year is encouraging people to give a talk about their site, what technologies, hardware, software, methods, policies they may use etc. The idea is to give others an idea about what other people use in the "real world" . It could be wide ranging or just about one thing like how you handle logs or documentation. We'd really like to encourage people to give these sort of talks. Anyway if you have an idea either for yourself or someone else (or suggestions on who we could approach) then please send an email to the team at talks08 @ nznog.miniconf.org Full details on the website: http://nznog.miniconf.org/ -- Simon Lyall | Very Busy | Web: http://www.darkmere.gen.nz/ "To stay awake all night adds a day to your life" - Stilgar | eMT.
