Have a go with the Linksys ones. Gary @ Base10.co.nz has them . Ive got 10
here and they work fine. They DO have USB but I just use the Ethernet port
and a normal phone handset. Dont foget the change the tone settings to NZ/AU
or the dam things wont ring or drop carrier :) . Ive had them running over
30km wireless links holding 10 calls at a time and they are very nice.
Simple but they work . You will need to implement your own gateway however.
If its for a radio network then the new Adaptive Broadband and WMUX radios
have E1 interfaces for PR2's , think they "may" also support PRI & basic
rates but im not sure. I gave up on trying to understand PSTN crap :) . Ill
tell you more when I get back from WISPCONII in Chicago .
Other option is some of the embeded linux ones that go for about $300NZ out
of the US/Singapore. Dunno if they would work with NZ phone systems tho .
Ill give it a go next week for a giggle .
Best Regards

We are currently lookin for USB voip 'gizmos' for a project , I remember some local ISP was using them of a while.
Does anybody know who that was, or even better where the gizmos were sourced from? (Hopefully a bit more than "from taiwan" :-) )
Thanks. jfp.
