Hi all, Next week is NZNOG12 in Christchurch, we can’t wait to see you there. If you are arriving on the Monday or Wednesday for the workshops or tutorials, you can register from 8:30, pick up your name tag and get into it. On Thursday registration is available from 8am for the conference. We will have organisers on the ground and we will be identifiable by our yellow name tags. We’re there to have a good time, but also there to help, so don’t be shy on approaching us if you need a hand. We’ve got ourselves a gigabit of Internet connectivity from Snap. We’ve been informed you guys won’t touch the sides so you might want to try and prove someone wrong. It doesn't matter if you need to recover from a hard day at a workshop or tutorial or you've just flown in, you can join Network Hardware Resale at the conference venue for some drinks and snacks from 5.30 pm on Wednesday. We'll be hanging out in the terrace, you can't miss us. Locals going to the conference are also welcome to attend. Thursday marks the start of the full conference. We’re proud of the quality of the speakers we have, and we’re hoping to keep you entertained with a trip to Allied Telesis Labs, and the conference dinner at the Antarctic Centre. Vocus have been a massive help to us in getting the conference dinner off the ground, so join them and the rest of us at the Antarctic Centre. There can’t be many technical conferences in the world that have penguins, huskies and ice storms. You’ll need to get information from us on the Thursday about the transport running between the venue, Allied Telesis Labs and the Antarctic Centre. We’ve organised buses, but you can make your own way if that suits. As well as the standard tea and coffee there will be Red Bull on hand on the Friday; useful if you are feeling a little tired after the Thursday festivities. You might want to fight that tiredness and get there in time for the early session, where we will be giving away some noise cancelling headphones and a Kindle or two. We’re looking forward to seeing you there, we’re proud of the line up and we’re looking forward to a really good event. PS - we are nearly full now, but we can squeeze in another few people. You might want to nudge anyone who’s still considering going Website: http://2012.nznog.org Register now: http://nznog.lilregie.com/ Venue location: http://g.co/maps/g779m
