Hi all, I wanted to make sure you know that applications are open for InternetNZ fellowships to attend the Global Internet Governance Forum (IGF) to be held in Bali, Indonesia 21-25 October 2013. About the IGF: The IGF is the global multistakeholder Internet event, which brings together people from all over the world to talk about Internet issues and policy. Find out more here: http://www.intgovforum.org/cms/aboutigf Regional and national IGF initatives, such as our very own event NetHui, are ideal to feed into the global event. InternetNZ is keen to encourage the Internet community to attend, especially as this year's IGF is relatively close to us, in the Asia-Pacific region, being held in Bali Indonesia. Find out more about the event here: http://igf2013.or.id/ What's on offer: These fellowships are designed to enable NetHui participants and the wider Internet Community to join in the discussions and proceedings this year in Bali. InternetNZ is seeking to award Fellowships across the wide range of interests and topics under discussion at the IGF. InternetNZ will provide fellowship funding to up to 4 New Zealanders to attend. Fellowship funding is limited to no more than $2,500, which will probably require some additional funding to be secured or provided by the applicant. Applications close tomorrow 26 July so get an application quick if you are interested! https://internetnz.net.nz/content/InternetNZ-IGF-Bali-Fellowships -- Dean Pemberton Technical Policy Advisor InternetNZ +64 21 920 363 (mob) dean(a)internetnz.net.nz To protect and promote the Internet for New Zealand.
