Hi folks. Might seem like a silly question (they usually are), but does anyone have some positive (or negative) experiences to share on the subject of purchasing cisco boxes and support contracts for the same? I'm doing some work for a company that has an over-abundance of routers, but an under-abundance of clue. What I'm looking for is an organisation either with national service or based in Auckland who can do 'full service', almost retail router sales and support, and who offer service contracts, hot swap spares, and stuff like that. I have this vague mental picture that Anite in Auckland used to offer this sort of service, but I'm open to any other suggestions. The objective, in case it isn't obvious, is to connect my current employer to someone who can compensate for their lack of clue in exchange for large bundles of cash. Any thoughts on who to talk to (and perhaps who to avoid) would be welcome. If there's sufficient interest, I'm happy to post the consensus back to the list, in case any of you find yourselves in a similar situation.
