Xtra's helpdesk is looking into the matter. They say that the problem APPEARS to be at their end. Users of other ISP's have no such issues with comsolve.co.nz.

Yes- I have kept my DNS zonefiles and Domainz information well up-to-date for the last 4 years since moving from Connected and running my own mailserver....

How many others have been caught out like this?
I have seen this at least once before, what it was the domain had previously used Xtra for it's mail, later on they moved to ihug but their config wasn't removed from all of Xtra's mailservers. So some mail from Xtra attempted to go to the old mailboxes (which no longer existed).
From memory Xtra cleared it up pretty quickly once they were aware of it. postmaster(a)xtra.co.nz would be the natural person to contact.

I'm gonna get yelled at for this but it won't be the first time so here goes. I'd like to thank Michael for doing the right thing and contacting the XTRA helpdesk. There have been times in the past when this list has been used to voice a problem that someone is having, BEFORE that person lets the ISP involved know about it. This list is a great way to get problems like this solved. Infact one could argue that it is one of the main uses for this list. But lets not forget that no matter how useless you think calling a helpdesk is, you owe it to the ISP involved to let them know. Thanks - you can all flame me now.
