Cheers Jay, On the contrary, I'd love to prevent a conversation from developing. I'd like nothing more than to hear the explanations, have them documented where appropriate, and move this whole situation to the "Been there, done that" pile. If the next post in this thread had all the explanations, I'd reply with "I fully trust the NZRS DNSSEC procedures" and go back to being a .nz advocate. Why make people read/write untold posts while they wait for explanations which are available now. I don't see the reason for all the secrecy. It does nothing to foster trust in the community. Dean had kindly shared his concerns with us earlier and I suggested that he take his concerns on-list rather than us discuss them privately as it is important for us in NZRS to understand the community views on our DNSSEC plans. We can of course explain all of our choices but I would rather not do that for a while so that we don't prevent a conversation from developing.
