It's come to my attention that ORBS is listing 203.97.237.122 as an open relay, and therefore is being blocked by various (clueless?) networks.., It happens to be a small mailserver I indirectly have some involvement with. It's not an open relay, it has never relayed spam, and its listing in ORBS defies belief. I have absolutely no interest in Alan's disputes with above.net, and I consider the continued listing of this server to be nothing more than petty vandalism on an innocent 3rd party by Alan. Such vandalism disgusts me, it is only pissing off the very people ORBS is trying to convince of its merit.. Alan, get a clue and stop listing people who _aren't_ open relays in ORBS. I welcome anyone who does not take my word that the server is not an open relay to use any (obviously non-ORBS) tester to prove it.. -- David Zanetti <dave2(a)earthling.net> | "It doesn't matter a damn what the Moderator, nz.politics.announce | [ISOCNZ] members think or say" #include <geek/unix.h> | Jim Higgins, (then) ISOCNZ chairman --------- To unsubscribe from nznog, send email to majordomo(a)list.waikato.ac.nz where the body of your message reads: unsubscribe nznog
