If anyone wants to track open relays in their netspace, take a look at http://www.orbs.org/admins.html
It says on the page referenced above: "Please note: Database dumps are just that - details of hosts which are in the database. We don't scan netblocks to provide this information and because of this an ORBS dump is not a comprehensive list of open relays in the netblock - just details of the ones we know about." I'm not sure who the "we" concerned is but I see requests from a particular netblock maintained by a particular admin who just happens to host the ORBS site going through our network ranges on a regular basis... anyway, the point of my post, does anyone in NZ actually use the ORBS database on there mail servers (aside from the obvious) as a spam blocking tool? XTRA, IHUG, ICONZ, Clear, Voyager?? Regards Shane --------- To unsubscribe from nznog, send email to majordomo(a)list.waikato.ac.nz where the body of your message reads: unsubscribe nznog
