From all the articles, they sound like they are leaving TM alone. My guess is, they bought it to hit Australia. TM is just so much cleaner

Not strictly network related, but to keep it roughly on-topic I would imagine that the $700m that Fairfax is paying to acquire TradeMe will buy a few beers.
Anyone know who Fairfax use for the connectivity? Might we see TM go offline again as corporate IT flexes its institutional stupidity and de-invents the wheel vis peering?
