Seriously though we should be asking ourselves about geo-ip. Isn't it a bad thing to offer service on the basis of geographic location - network neutrality, free trade etc? Perhaps this should be in the TPPA discussions.

Yes, let's just treat all IP addresses as identifiers rather than locators. Let us free the bits from the tyranny of distance. What's wrong with 4 billion /32 routes in the table?

IP is what it is. An IP address is---an address. But not a reliable indicator of latitude and longitude. So don't do that either.

The correct way is:

A2: I have no idea
A3: None of your business
