Hi all, Thanks to everyone who came to NZNOG last week, it was great to have you all there. And thanks to all of you who helped out, and especially to all of our sponsors. This year we added an incentive to local presenters - the best local presentation would win travel and accommodation to APRICOT in Singapore and a complementary registration. The paper would be submitted to the APRICOT programme comittee and the winner might get to present at the event. There was quite a lot of discussion about who should win, and we have selected Donald Love's presentation on UFB Realities as the best local presentation at NZNOG 2013 for it's combination of technically interesting content and 'good honest truth' delivery. Congratulations to Donald and a big thank you to all of our local presenters for the interesting and engaging presentations. If you have something technically interesting worth sharing start planning your submission for NZNOG 2014 now :^) NZNOG 2014 will be held January 27-31 2014 in Nelson, New Zealand, and a Call for Papers will be issued to this list later in the year.
