I suspect many of you know of the DIGEX site which allows you to traceroute (and other things) from a web page, but I was recently made aware of a whole page of similar sites, allowing traceroutes from almost anywhere in the world.
DIGEX has proved most useful in the past in finding oddball misconfigurations, such as routes that go OUT one way and BACK quite another.
We have a stripped-down version of the digex script running at CLEAR. It's not for entirely public consumption, but if anybody would find a CLIX looking glass useful, send me a private e-mail and I'll send you back a username and password.
