As a customer I see there was major issues with security on the network
Not major problems with security. A SQL table that contains encrypted passwords for out Radius server to check against was compromised. The passwords are encrypted with an MD5 based one way hash. The only way to decrypt the passwords is from a brute force attack, and as a precaution we have requested that customers change their passwords.
Today they were down at least 12 hours from around 6am - 6pm
Thats strange I tried to get in at 6am to clear my email and couldnt log in kept getting a 718 error A phone call to the office at 8am said it would be up in 30 mins Tried on and off all day finally got in around 7pm This is entirely incorrect.
All customers have been asked to change passwords
This however is correct. Cheers. James Tyson.
