Depending on the size of your network (and the size of your ops team) it almost seems sensible to host a DoS magnet in your network, so that you get regular practice at identifying and mitigating the problem. An Undernet server would do quite nicely for this :-)
I would be only too pleased to sell some swamp land to any operator who wishes to host an Undernet server in NZ. ;) - Alarmed in New Zealand.
