This is probably due to the high number of DDoS attacks being launched against them. We asked to be removed from the secondary DNS listings because of these attacks. Currently, socks.relays.osirusoft.com rejects all lookups. Joe may have done this in order to trace some of the DDoS attacks - the amount of damage done to networks with these (we're talking attacks in excess of 200Mbits) will almost certainly have generated some interest in law enforcement circles. In the meantime, I suggest running your own setup - see http://spfilter.sourceforge.net for details on running a local dnsbl. The only thing these attacks achieve is the creation of local blocklists that are much more difficult to get out of....
