The RSVP is an opportunity to suggest a couple of small awards such things as "The Doctor Joe Baptista Award for least enlightening post of 2001", and the "Sid Jones award for Cisco CEF - Customer Enragement Feature of 2001".
It seems I've made something of an impression here. Always nice to know. However - you must change the awards name. I have not given permission for my name to be used in any way with any award to you or to Cisco Technologies. Now if you or Cisco Technologies wish to submit a proposal on the use of my name I will consider it. However - at this time I want you to make it clear to the group that I have nothing to do with this award and you are order to immediately cease any and all usage of my name in association with this project. As a Cisco investor I'm a bit surprised that you a Cisco employee would so flagrantly use my name and personality to sell attendance at some Christmas social without my permission. I have therefore taken this opportunity to cc this reply and the original communication from Cisco to my barrister Mr. Len Lindon. I ask that the Cisco PR or investor relations department forward this complaint to the appropriate legal department and that they provide my barrister with assurances that my name will no longer be used in association with any Cisco function or by any Cisco employee in the promotion of any event or the sale of any product associated directly or indirectly with Cisco Technologies. regards joe baptista -- Joe Baptista http://www.dot-god.com/ The dot.GOD Registry, Limited The Executive Plaza, Suite 908 150 West 51st Street Tel: 1 (208) 330-4173 Manhattan Island NYC 10019 USA Fax: 1 (208) 293-9773 === ORIGINAL MESSAGE FROM CISCO EMPLOYEE TO NZNOG LIST
