I am probably going to get yelled at for being OT, but I am 16, and very interested in heading in the right direction. Currently doing bits of hosting and web design (where I can), im plodding away at 6th form, top of the school in computer studies.
If anyone from an ISP or the likes would like to 'take me under their wing', and impart some of their knowledge etc.
Young people are the future, not only in New Zealand, but around the world. Via education and enlightenment (two different things), young people can walk down the paths that allow them to guide other people. Some people start doing that at an early age and the Internet and the InterNAT empower them with tools that their elders often do not use or do not understand. Fortunately, truth guides all generations and eventually the truth is all that remains. The .NET technology often allows the truth and/or reality to be reshaped for short periods of time causing confusion and chaos that blurs the vision and derails people of all ages. That same .NET technology allows one to work with truth which comes from a firm understanding of all of the bits and bytes and then the dollars and cents. You will find many people who will attempt to distract you from the basics, but returning to the foundations you develop at your age will help you live long and prosper.
