One option would be to wear geeky or vendor shirts/caps. I am sure everyone has something wearable given to them by Cisco/Juniper/ascent etc and these are not widely available stuff to the generic public.
Ah.. at last a time I can wear my Ascend socks and the Shiva shirt, Intel Cap, open the bottle of wine with the HP bottle opener and drink out the the Cisco Mugs........
