I've assumed there's obviously a national mail issue, as I'm getting delays of up to 12 hours from most of you.
However, is there a forum where you all report that you are actually having problems so that us 'not quite so high level people' can get a heads up without having to bother you when you're busy?
Cheers Don
You mean something like a network operators mailing list?

One request I would make, when you get a contact would you like to post it back to list so that it exists in the archive for the next person who wants the answer. Answers posted off list are usually meant to stay off-list. Posting anything onto the list you didnt write, or giving out contact details for
Don: (from a previous post) people who dont want to become the target of "email assaults" when something breaks at 4am on a saturday night is probably going to get you stabbed in the eye with a brick next time you show up at a conference or curry, and is ultimately going to stop anyone truely helpful from "making a quiet, helpful, offlist reply" again - to anyone. Dave: This list has never been a place for users to contact admins, admins to report problems to the "greater masses", or an official contact point for any company - ever. Several companies will beat staff upside the head if they communicate in public forums on their behalf (have you forgotten last weeks drama's already?). Everyone: The majority of people who are complaining about the value and relevence of recent posts have been on this particular list for years, and shouldn't be ripped into whenever they try to maintain the standards and general context of things posted which they've come to expect. If you object to the opinions of the longer standing members, I'd encourage you to set up your own, and run it your way.. you may want to run a promotion offering free cake and beer to integral NZ network admins though, because a "NZNO*" list without any real "NZNO's", could end up a little too much like existing "*ADSL" user lists.. I know, i know, the list does not have "the one r^wking", but I suggest that before any of you "flip out" or post "silly" questions, you take a moment to consider how useful the list will become if all of these "snappy, flexxxy, angry man-trolls" people stop contributing, or unsubscribe.. (even if they are a pack of Negative Nancy's) Now.. can everyone please stop with the internet Coups, and get back to work? Jeremy.
