Would affect traffic to the Microsoft datacenters in Singapore and Hong Kong, think we have some bw on that leg. Alternate routes via JPN or Guam are much slower ☹ Sent from my Windows 10 phone From: Don Stokesmailto:don(a)daedalus.co.nz Sent: Friday, 22 July 2016 5:05 PM To: NZNOG(a)list.waikato.ac.nzmailto:NZNOG(a)list.waikato.ac.nz Subject: [nznog] Perth to Singapore link cut I just got a note from Vocus indicating a failure in the Perth to Singapore link. Hasn't had too much impact - the Japan based M.root-servers.net is showing a longish RTT routing via California (going from ~205ms to ~265ms). Not sure if it affects anyone in NZ other than Vocus-connected sites. Looks like the cut occurred around 14:53 today (NZST). -- don _______________________________________________ NZNOG mailing list NZNOG(a)list.waikato.ac.nz https://list.waikato.ac.nz/mailman/listinfo/nznog
