Well, I've just gone to 12.0(8) on a 3620, up from 11.3, and that difference is most pleasent. 11.3 did not crash, but had some, um, infelicities. I'm quite happy with 12.0(8).
Of course, if you want a stable release, well the following may amuse you (although it's not strictly IOS of couse, its a Catalyst 2926).
