Mr Robb, how much did your Airo stuff set you back, or was it a freebee?
Anyone know what sort of state the 2.4GHz is in around the tower? I've heard stories of it being so full already that frequency-hopping units are starting to have real problems finding a free frequency to hop to. I'm not that familiar with much of Cisco's wireless gear, but the Aironet stuff that David has is 2.4Ghz i believe... There was also a rumor floating around that Walker Wireless had signed some deal with Sky City which gave them exclusive use of 2.4Ghz off the tower, and that anyone else wanting to use that band would have to go find another high place. Anyone able to confirm/deny any of these? --- Matt Camp Head Geek Mercury Telecoms/Quicksilver Internet --------- To unsubscribe from nznog, send email to majordomo(a)list.waikato.ac.nz where the body of your message reads: unsubscribe nznog
