Personally, I think this is the best improvement telecom has made in ages! Basically they have noticed 128k is too slow for the standard, so 256k will probably become the standard, this is probably also to match paradise cable connections. "Speed MAY be reduced", probably something like - we're still working on implementing this feature... till we do you'll have 256k If you don't want your net to slow down when you hit 10GB (or whatever) don't signup to the plan... James.
