I just got a note from Vocus indicating a failure in the Perth to Singapore link. Hasn't had too much impact - the Japan based M.root-servers.net is showing a longish RTT routing via California (going from ~205ms to ~265ms). Not sure if it affects anyone in NZ other than Vocus-connected sites.
Looks like the cut occurred around 14:53 today (NZST).
