I use the following whitelist, but something bigger to cover more NZ hosts would be nice.... 66.35.250.225/32 # lists-outbound.sourceforge.net 66.94.237.35/32 # yahoo.com host 209.73.160.90/32 # another yahoo.com host 216.127.66.119/32 # Voip User 219.88.242.3 # MX5.orcon.net.nz 64.233.0.0/16 # Gmail 66.249.92.0/24 # Gmail 66.163.187.0/24 # Yahoo 193.252.22.0/24 # Wanadoo (freeserve) 64.4.56.0/24 # Hotmail 65.54.246.0/24 # Hotmail 210.54.141.0/24 # Xtra 203.96.222.0/24 # Ihug mail hosts 203.97.33.0/24 # Telstra Clear 203.97.37.0/24 # Telstra Clear Barry
Hi there,
Is there a list of NZ networks or mail hosts that are considered OK for whitelisting in an email greylisting implementation? I realise that there are trust issues etc etc but what I want to do is have domestic mail from known providers (ie ISPs and hosting providers) essentially unhindered by the usual time delay of greylisting.
We're using qmail, and the greylisting options are a bit basic. If there isn't a list would I be correct in assuming that moving to postfix and using postgrey with its database learning / remembering option would be a smart move?
I realise that this is verging on off topic, but my googling has netted ziltch.
Regards, Gerard
