125 in the queue on a box I admin.
(When smallisp isn't accepting mail, it's their problem. When xtra isn't accepting mail, it's our problem :)
I'm sure their customers think it's their problem. After all, they're the ones not receiving their email.
I think what he meant was that it becomes other peoples problem in terms of a large outgoing queue building up on their mailservers...(since Xtra has no secondary MX record) Anyway, just because they're not accepting new incomming mail doesn't mean that their customers are getting errors when they check their pop accounts. If they're not specifically expecting mail they're probably none the wiser. Last time there was a big outage of Xtra's incomming mailservers for nearly a day we got quite a few customers of ours ringing to say their emails weren't getting through to Xtra - they'd already rung their correspondant with the xtra address who told them they were checking their messages fine and their message wasn't arriving, so they assume the blame lies on the sending end.... thats just the way people think... Besides, on the Help page: "There are currently no known problems with the Xtra Network." :) Regards, Simon
