Best practice is usually not to allow anything more specific than a /24.
On the APE and WIX route servers we will accept prefixes up to a /29. Of course anyone taking the set of prefixes from the route servers is free to apply whatever filters they like to that set. The current count of routes offered by those servers at the APE is 126 prefixes and at the WIX it's 675. I think that if people want to take advantage of local peering exchanges then a /24 may be too restrictive if they want to optimise traffic so that it doesn't need to traverse their ISP's router.
