Telecom CTM report major DOS attack :-(
Can anyone spread any more light on this? I'd like to know what kind of DoS attack causes such problems because presumably many many people are vulnerable.
It might be the "finger trouble in the NOC" attack, which seems to strike at random and take out entire continents every now and then. Or maybe it's some kind of "James Tyson has Left The Building" distributed denial of clue attack. Perhaps Xtra need to buy some transit from other people in the name of route diversity :) Joe --------- To unsubscribe from nznog, send email to majordomo(a)list.waikato.ac.nz where the body of your message reads: unsubscribe nznog
