Anyone have any experience with the Meraki wireless mesh networking system, formerly MIT's RoofNet, in the New Zealand environment that they would be prepared to share with a group interested in investigating the technology?
Thanks for the responses, many of which came to me direct, so a quick summary back to the list: "Donald Gordon <don(a)dis.org.nz> was playing with them, and we had one here for a while. In the out of box state they are very anoying. They do mesh using there own protocol, but everything is behind a nat'd subnet that hangs off them when they work." "I've got a small Meraki mesh running in Raglan and have a bunch of spare radios on my shelf at that I would be happy to loan / sell to a test project.
