Absolutely, it's going to be here for a long long time - if not in the service provider's network; then definitely in the subscriber network.
There seemed to be a loose consensus at NZNOG07 that operators would start playing with IPv6. That's a good start.
I'd love to know how many people from NZNOG have actually started, or have written the case for management, or requested funding.
