We've been doing maintenance work involving moving spanning tree roots and we've experiencing considerable network instability.
       
We've tracked the issue down to a 7609 that has crashed to the point the supervisor won't respond (lots of stack traces in the logs). Engineers are now on site with replacement hardware.
       
No ETA for full restoration of services at this stage.
