Please consider distributing this notice to others who may be interested in attending.Following the success of the inaugural��New Zealand Internet Research Forum in 2015, InternetNZ in conjunction with AUT's Institute of Culture, Discourse & Communication is pleased to announce a second forum to be held early in 2016. This event, which brings together Internet researchers and interested parties to discuss their proposed, current and finished research with the New Zealand Internet community.
The Forum will be held at��AUT on��4-5 February 2016, with discussion groups for postgraduate students and early-career researchers and Birds of a Feather session spaces available on the afternoon of Thursday 4 February and a welcome function on evening of Thursday 4 February.
The NZIRF will have a technical and a non-technical stream and supports the continued establishment of a network of researchers working in a wide range of fields such as social media, virtual worlds, cyber security, online activism,��crowd-sourcing, computer engineering, copyright,��gaming, digital politics, online communities, the virtual public sphere, online journalism, and digital literacy.
The NZIRF is free to attend for those participating in the programme (i.e. presenting, organising). Space for those not participating in the programme will be confirmed in early 2016 based on availability. Please complete an Expression of Interest (EoI) in attending and we���ll keep you posted with Forum developments including the finalised programme.��
