There's been lots of conjecture so hopefully this will help clear some
things up.
The nznog website has been down - the server it was hosted on at InternetNZ
was decommissioned while Dean and I were away in Cambodia. There is a new
version now at http://www.nznog.org/. It's hosted on Google Apps and has
details of what's happening.
It's not complete and registrations are not yet available - we'll be trying
to fix that ASAP.
We've got support from Krystal Waine for
conference organisation. She started work at InternetNZ yesterday and we're
working on the details right now. She is an experienced conference
organiser who has done this professionally in the past.
To make it clear the dates are 21 - 25 January and the conference will be
in Wellington unless we have a major problem with a venue.
So while we're behind where we hoped to be when we talked about this at the
last meeting, we're still on track to hit the major milestones we've set
for this years event.
