I would like to be involved and could supply Live content which I am licensed in the form of BBC World 24 Hour and Radio New Zealand National Program 24 hour live.
Some years ago 1997 we set the Radio New Zealand Site http://www.rnz.co.nz . In 1998 Peter Fitchett along with help from Josh Bailey and Dean were able to successfully enable multicasting to dial-in Xtra Users (where multicast rights are assigned) on the 087303030 dial-in network as well as to DDS clients where correctly configured.
The BBC World is 24kbs RealVideo and the National Program is 16kbs RealAudio.
Saw that. Xtra's APE connection isnt in yet (believe me, I want it to be), but when it is I am sure that we will reflect your multicast streams onto APE for all to see. I would probably suggest that someone donate a piece of equipment to be a multicast tunnel endpoint at APE, and nominate an admistrator to run it so that any ISP connected to APE can receve the multicast streams if they want it (without forcing it on them by broadcasting it across APE).
