I think if I was a consumer, I would find it a little hard to use another ISP's JetStream service via Telecom's website, it seems a bit anti-competitive. Fair enough it's Telecom's network but basicly forcing the consumer to use XTRA as an ISP?
It certainly reads like Telecon are waiving the install fee if you use Xtra. They'd probably claim that Xtra are just paying it for you, but to people who understand DSL accounting it doesn't come across that way. I love the way that they encourage people to use high-bandwidth applications which they know will push up their monthly usage. That's got to be somewhat fraudulent, surely?
