Richard, I know you have heaps of experience in that... What would the costs be? Excluding the wine :) Russell Sharpe -----Original Message----- From: Richard Naylor [mailto:richard.naylor(a)citylink.co.nz] Sent: Tuesday, 7 November 2006 14:38 To: Jasper Bryant-Greene; nznog(a)list.waikato.ac.nz Subject: Re: [nznog] More quotes for internet access needed... I live maybe 25m from the closest TC cable, which would probably be close enough speed-wise, but there's another property between me and that cable, so I can't get hooked up.
What, if any, are my options? If any providers able to help could email me quotes off-list I'd be appreciative.
Give your neighbour a case of wine and run a cable along the fence. Its perfectly legal. If your neighbour doesn't like wine, ask your local council if you can dig the road and put your own cable in. Also very legal. You don't need a network Operator lic to do this. _______________________________________________ NZNOG mailing list NZNOG(a)list.waikato.ac.nz http://list.waikato.ac.nz/mailman/listinfo/nznog
