Whilst on topic has anyone come accross reasonably priced 802.3bz supporting switches ; aka 10G Copper with Fallback based on Media Capability?

Netgear and Buffalo were the only two I found that were anywhere close to reasonably priced (1000$ odd); and then there is a long list of Wireless AX ap's that have a port of it which is not useful.

That was a major drawback of the Routerboard range.

I'm still a big fan of anything running Openwrt mainline; and I still find that cheap j1900 /n3560 ATOM braswell based ones with x86 are far more flexible than anything commercially bundled.
You can get a 4 port j1900 for 50$ and if you want to do Layer3 stuff then the 3160 version is another 100$ or so (and includes AES-NX).

Point me at something that can do Layer3 routing at 5Gbit with high PPS/small packets with encryption for that price point that doesn't come with weirdness - I have been looking for a while.

I'd forgotten (if I knew) about the link with Accton - I put in quite a
few Accton hubs and (ISA) NICs in the 90's.
