I don't have a good picture of southern cross protection paths in my head, so that might be just so much crack smoke, of course. The fact that Voyager, CLEAR and Telecom seem to be exhibiting unusually high latencies between Auckland and Sydney with no sign of packet loss is a bit suspicious otherwise, though.
