It'll work in reverse, too - as well as having multicast content into your ISP, you can multicast content out (perhaps from customer audio/video streams, webcams, radio stations, mp3 playlists, large illegal collections of cool television shows, etc) and it can be pushed back into the mbone at minimal bandwidth cost to you, the source carrier.
