There are some quite smart people in that age group, Unfortunately they often are a little miss guided , with the right guidance they can become a very good company asset. I worked for an ISP when I was still in school ( Planet Group ) and had a great mentor, I did some pretty stupid things and abused a lot of resources but I have to thank the boss who looked after me and taught me a lot about systems and how to do things the right way, Not to mention a crash course on Solaris. productive environment become a valuable asset.
