Hi all; I've started some discussions with a few parties about this already, but in case any one is interested in learning more - I have a working OpenFlow based router up here at Vic (based on a Linux PC and a Pica8 3290 48 1GE/4 GE switch). There's quite a bit of work going on in this area and if you don't already know about OpenFlow http://openflow.org might be illuminating. Or you could keep using boring old commercial routers. :-) Booooring. :-) Also I would like to draw your attention to http://www.isc.org/about/jobs - I am working pretty closely with the ISC on this and the ISC are interested in network-saavy developers - per the link, "San Francisco Bay Area candidates are preferred but exceptions made for the right skill set." :-) -- Josh Bailey
