Wow, that's an end of an era. AS9503 was the AS that was Comnet. Comnet is what was left of the DSIRNet after the Crown Research Institutes act happened in 1992. I don't know when AS9503 was first announced some it's got to be sometime before 1992. Which makes for a pretty stink 30 something birthday party for AS9503! :-) jabley might know more because I had to ask him nicely to transfer maint records when FX took over what was left of ComNet in the early 2000's.
