Hi Barry, I wrote the CW story on Domain Names NZ... The DNC said: "They've obviously got hold of an old list but they've also been targeting .com names and some new .co.nz ones as well." so they're aware that there are new names listed recently as well as those on an old list (presumably identified by having dropped off the newer list?). Domain Registry of Europe/America/Canada/Australia has been busy elsewhere also. The Register in the UK carries this story: http://www.theregister.co.uk/content/6/32209.html "The Dutch hosting provider Deinternetman and its American partner Register.com ... ponder legal action against Domain Registry of Europe (DRoE) for sending their customers letters urging them to renew their domain contracts." Sounds like the Commerce Commission is onto the Aussie crowd already - in conjunction with the ACCC so hopefully something will be done soon.
